Tuesday was a special night: the first in a month-long programme of events that I've produced in partnership with Nike Women at their gorgeous 45 Grand space in Soho, New York City. The 'Working It Out' series explores the crossover between work and wellness that increasingly defines the way modern women live and work. Over the course of four evenings of fitness, food, and conversation, we're looking at those 'bigger picture' values that have come to shape our ideas of personal and professional success.

The first event was all about finding focus in an age of distraction. After a centering yoga workout led by Krissy Jones of Sky Ting Yoga (her studio is brand-new and beautiful; check it out!) we were treated to a rainbow of vegan dishes by Laila Gohar of Sunday Supper. Afterwards, I hosted a panel conversation with Krissy, and Claudia Wu and Kerry Diamond of Cherry Bombe magazine in the pastel pink environs of the Rafael de C├írdenas-designed space upstairs.

Conversation topics ranged from streamlining your career path to learning how to put down that iPhone - the ladies offered fascinating insights so stay tuned for a full audio recording, coming soon. Until then, enjoy some pictures of the night's proceedings and all the lovely women who attended.
