1. I hope this email finds you well, but if you’re struggling to navigate this strange time we’re living in here are a couple of articles that might help: Some tips from Ann Douglas on how to avoid being psychologically destroyed by your newsfeed and an article in a similar vein from The New York Times

2. Right now, I’m thinking a lot about how my friends with young children/siblings are helping these vulnerable minds to process world events. This letter from anti-FGM campaigner Leyla Hussein to her 14 year old daughter is lovely (and might also be helpful to those of you with daughters of your own).

3. OK, back to stuff that’s happening outside of your newsfeed of doom! SiteInspire is nothing new, but it’s a super-useful resource of website design if you’re planning to rejuvenate your online presence in 2017

4. Audio recordings of my conversations with Hemsley + Hemsley and Frame’s Pip Black at Topshop are coming soon. In the meantime, here are some pretty pictures from all three events

5. Speaking of the delightful Hemsley sisters, their Pep Up Tea is a great coffee alternative for those of us trying to reduce our caffeine intake (ahem, me) and this squash, red lentil and coconut curry looks like an ideal plant-based dinner for these cold winter nights. #IsWinterOverYet?

6. Shout out to Zen Habits for reaching its tenth anniversary. I’ve learnt a lot from this site over the years. Here are some things that founder Leo Babauta has learnt himself

7. One of my personal strategies for dealing with these challenging times has been to more consciously seek things of beauty. Case in point: Sampha’s long-awaited new album. Soothing sounds for less-than-soothing times

8. Speaking of soothing: Into The Gloss rounds up some chic products that might help if you’re struggling to sleep (ahem, me again). And if those don’t work for you, just watch this video of Parisian facialist Isabelle Bellis teaching you how to moisturise on repeat.

9. A book recommendation that has cropped up on numerous occasions over the past couple of weeks. Ben Horowitz’s The Hard Thing About Hard Things. Added to the Kindle list.

10. One final heads up that The WW Club membership is still open (but closes again for a little while next week!) Come join the crew :)
