INFORMATION. IDEAS. INSIGHTS.

WEEKEND READING: FEB 19-21 2016

It's the weekend and you finally have time to read, rather than just 'Liking' links for later. Hurray! A few ideas on where to start...

1. The Feel-Good Female Solidarity Machine / Bloomberg Businessweek

A fantastic piece on the branding of feminism by the equally fantastic Sheelah Kolhatkar. Articles like this are why Bloomberg Businessweek is my favourite.

2. NARCISSISM IS INCREASING. SO YOU'RE NOT SO SPECIAL / THE NEW YORK TIMES

Feeling conflicted about your selfie habit? Aren't we all. Arthur C. Brooks breaks it down.

3. ELENA FERRANTE IN A MANNER OF SPEAKING / THE GENTLEWOMAN

If you've read the Neopolitan Novels (and if you haven't, please do!) then you'll relish this conversation between the series' author Elena Ferrante and Deborah Orr from the new issue of The Gentlewoman. Trust Penny Martin to know exactly what I want to read, always.

4. WHAT'S THE BEST BOOK ABOUT WORK? / THE NEW YORK TIMES

Not new, but writer Alice Gregory is brilliant on everything. And obviously this article can be neatly filed under: 'Relevant To My Interests'. And maybe yours, too.

5. THE HANDBOOK FOR WOMEN WHO DO CREATIVE WORK

Speaking of which: this is almost sold out. Get one before they're gone!

Have a lovely weekend.
