WHAT’S THE BEST THING ABOUT YOUR JOB?

The variety of challenges that it presents.

AND THE MOST CHALLENGING ASPECT OF IT?

The challenges themselves!

WHAT DO YOU WISH YOU’D KNOW ABOUT YOUR CAREER OR INDUSTRY WHEN YOU WERE FIRST STARTING OUT?

No one really knows what they are doing. We are all winging it together.

WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST PROFESSIONAL ACCOMPLISHMENT THUS FAR?

Definitely when we crowdfunded £150,000.00 in 5 hours.

WHAT DOES YOUR DAILY UNIFORM CONSIST OF?

In the summer I am a bit all over the place but for winter I tend to keep in very low key and simple. Black Chelsea boots or trainers, black Levi's, some sort of cashmere in grey, black or navy and either my black Acne biker or a wool overcoat. Boring, but it means one less thing to think about.

THE INDISPENSABLE TOOL OF YOUR TRADE:

My business partner Chi. She is so calm and upbeat.

WHAT’S YOUR GO-TO SOURCE OF INSPIRATION?

Inspiration seems to be on every corner in London. Be it a new restaurant, an interesting art show or finding a hidden park. London is always pushing and inspiring me.

WHO’S YOUR PROFESSIONAL HERO (AND WHY)?

Amanda Chantal Bacon, the founder of Moon Juice. She is genuinely passionate about what she does and seems to do it with such care. She really put an emphasis on the facts behind anything she creates, giving each product a real purpose. I find this inspiring. I am bored of seeing a constant stream of new drinks brands with no real function, which don't offer us anything new.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU’VE LEARNT ABOUT MONEY AND FINANCE?

Delegate, don’t abdicate. It is so easy to just hand your financials to an advisor, or someone you think must know better. Yes it is important to understand where your strengths lie, but you really still need to pay attention and understand how your company cash flow will work to that you understand how any decision you might make can affect this.

HOW DO YOU STAY ORGANISED? ANY TIPS OR TRICKS OR ‘HACKS’ TO SHARE?

I make lists constantly. My working day can be quite short if I am picking up my daughter from school but by the time she is in bed I am drained of energy. So instead of logging on and trying to accomplish more work I just create a focused to-do list off my main list. I get it ready for the next day so that as soon as I sit at my desk I can start chipping away.

WHAT BOOKMARKED WEBSITE OR ONLINE ARTICLE DO YOU ALWAYS REVISIT?

Live The Process. It always reminds me to take five.

WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF ADVICE YOU’VE EVER BEEN GIVEN?

Always keep a healthy margin.

WHAT’S YOUR DEFINITION OF SUCCESS?

Waking up everyday feeling content to head to my office and lead a group of inspiring people to create for good and then head home to my family at a reasonable time to sit, eat and share stories of our day.
